A manifold control pack is a pre-assembled unit used to control the circulation of heated water around an underfloor heating system. It connects directly to the manifold and often features a blending valve to reduce the flow temperature. The control pack includes fittings which allow neat and secure connections to the boiler’s flow and return pipes.
Underfloor heating systems with a boiler flow temperature above 55°C require a mixing valve to blend this down. Most control packs will feature a blending valve with this function.

When installing a low-temperature heat source, the blending valve is not required, the flow can run directly into the system. A heat pump control pack does not require a blending valve but still has all the key features of a standard manifold control pack.
