When you buy a ProWarm™ Underwood Heating mat and thermostat, as part of one of our kits, you get the rest of the kit accessories thrown in for free!
These mats MUST be installed in conjunction with ProFoam™ or XPS Insulation which are not included in the kit.
Heat Pak Dual Overlay must NOT be used in bathrooms, wetrooms, en-suites or any other wet areas as they will expand upon contact with moisture. If installing carpet or vinyl in any of these areas, you must use an underfloor heating mat with self-levelling compound. Please speak to technical for further details.
Please ensure when installing that the carpet and underlay’s combined tog value does not exceed 2.5.
ProWarm™ Electric underwood heating mats provide a reliable and effective underfloor heating system that when used in conjunction with XPS Standard insulation boards and Heat Pak Dual Overlay provide a reliable and effective underfloor heating system that work carpet and vinyl finishes.
Each ProWarm™ underwood heating system and thermostat comes with a Lifetime Warranty.
Please choose an electric underwood heating mat that will cover 90% of your floor area. It is best to order slightly less than you need than have too much as the cables CAN NOT be cut or shortened.
Please ensure all Safety Guidelines are adhered to during and after installation of this product.
The Electric underwood heating kit contain the following items:
- ProWarm™ Underfloor Heating Cable Drum (or 2 drums if over a 180 linear metres)
Our underfloor heating loose cable systems are the ideal solution for those complicated floor areas where a mat is not suitable, our systems are all rated at 10w per linear meter, this means the closer you space the cable the higher the output.
- Digital thermostat
Choice of programmable digital thermostat with floor temperature probe. All Prowarm™ digital thermostats come with a Lifetime Warranty*.
- Floor Primer
Prowarm™ Ultraprime is a high performance primer – increasing bond strength and flexural performance whilst reducing water penetration. It has been designed to be a universal priming/sealing agent and is suitable for a variety of building substrates including plaster, timber, brick and block work.
- High Quality Roller
For applying floor primer to sub-floor
- Adhesive Tape
To assist in holding mat or cable in position when installing

ProWarm™ Electric Underwood Heating Mats provide a reliable and effective underfloor heating system that work with laminate floors, engineered wood floors and solid wood floors.
Either 1 or 2 Electric 230v underfloor heating mats depending in size of kit, all mats are 500mm wide and are rated 140w per m2.
It is best to order slightly less than you need than have too much mat as the cables CANNOT be cut or shortened in anyway.
