Spray Adhesive for Low Profile UFH Overlay Boards

These spray adhesives are high-performance, non-chlorinated solvent adhesives that use CO₂ as a propellant. They are designed for bonding insulation and overlay boards to flat concrete, screed, and wooden subfloors.

Types of Spray Adhesive Available

500ml Spray Cans are compact and easy to use. Each can covers approximately 5 m² on concrete and around 2.5 m² on porous subfloors such as timber. These are ideal for single installations and smaller projects.

22L Canisters are best suited to professional installers and large projects. Canister systems reduce waste and allow for fast, consistent application using a spray gun and hose. Up to 200m² coverage.

Is This Spray Adhesive Suitable for Insulation Boards?

Yes. This adhesive is specifically intended for bonding UFH insulation boards. It is non-solvent, making it safe to use with standard insulation boards and low profile UFH systems, including EPS and XPS.

Can I Use Standard Construction Adhesive Instead?

No. Not all construction adhesives are suitable, as some are solvent-based and can damage insulation boards. Always ensure any adhesive used is non-chlorinated and insulation-safe. A possible alternative is a flexible tile adhesive if a spray adhesive cannot be used, but again, ensure it is non-solvent.

What Subfloors Can Spray Adhesive Be Used On?

Spray adhesive will bond to most subfloors, including

  • MDF, chipboard and Timber sheet materials

  • Concrete and screed

  • Plasterboard

  • Aluminium

  • Brickwork

  • Steel

Do not use on flexible PVC surfaces.
