How to pressure test underfloor heating

Pressure testing underfloor heating using a pump is required when to help identify leaks and ensure system integrity.

  1. Install and fully fill the underfloor heating system
  2. Connect the RP-50 pressure test pump via the 1/2โ€ณ female BS fitting to the fill and drain port, or the main flow and return using a relevant fitting.
  3. Ensure all other system entries are fully closed
  4. Pump the handle until the required testing pressure is reached (6 bar)
  5. Monitor the pressure for approximately 2 hours to check for any drops or leaks
