A 2-port motorised valve is used in water heating systems to control the flow of water. This valve is used as an automated shut off for many heating systems including underfloor heating, radiators, and other hot water systems. These valves are controlled electronically to open or close based on signals received from a thermostat or central control system. Their functionality allows for efficient control over the distribution of hot water, optimising heating performance and energy usage in water heating systems.
